Lawrence & Russell's attorneys have an active appellate practice on behalf of employee welfare benefits plans, employers and third-party administrators with regard to ERISA and employment discrimination issues. The firm's attorneys have successfully handled appeals before the Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals and various state appellate courts throughout the United States.

Lawrence & Russell has successfully petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court to grant certiorari in an ERISA case and has filed amicus briefs on behalf of clients in federal appellate courts and the U.S. Supreme Court.
