Mr. Lawrence's practice is devoted to representing employers, plan fiduciaries, and third-party administrators in employment and employee benefits matters throughout the United States. Mr. Lawrence has tried employment and benefits cases in federal district courts in many parts of the country. Mr. Lawrence also has handled appeals in employee benefits matters before most of the federal courts of appeals.Mr. Lawrence is rated “AV” by Martindale Hubbell.

Mr. Lawrence is a frequent author and speaker on employee benefits topics. He is a chapter editor of Employee Benefits Law, which is published in the ABA and BNA books. He is also a co-author of ERISA Subrogation: Enforcing Recoupment Provisions in ERISA-Covered Health and Disability Plans, published by the ABA.
